Yes, you can participate if you have CHF, diabetes, or are on oxygen. Ensure your Doctor has cleared you to do mild exercise first!

Understand how your heart and lungs work together and how to breathe correctly to get the most oxygen possible and exhale excess carbon dioxide out of the lungs.

Lesson 6: Getting the most from your Activities
Breathe through activity using breathing techniques.

Lesson 7: Oxygen safey
All things oxygen: safety, portable 02 options, travelling with oxygen, safe oxygen levels, protect your heart- ensure you have enough oxygen. If you are NOT on oxygen, please watch this anyway for the sake of your fellow COPD/Asthma/IPF friends.

Lesson 8: Using spacers with inhalers
How to use a spacer, how to use an mdi without a spacer, the importance of spacers. Controllers and reliever medications, inhaled steroids, technique and timing.

Lesson 21: The Interstitial Lung Diseases : ILD, IPF, Pulmonary Fibrosis
The group of lung diseases known as Pulmonary Fibrosis, PVOD (Pulmonary Veno-occlusive disease), Interstitial lung disease, and related disorders such as Pulmonary Hypertension. Causes and treatments. Keep your oxygen levels up!

Lesson 22: Finding YOUR Stride
Arranging items in your home and office to fit your height and allow for best posture. Doing the most demanding tasks at the time of day that you have the most energy.
