Day 1: Essentials of Communication and Leadership

Who this class is for: If you are thinking of moving into management, supervisor, lead or director positions, this course will begin your journey to communicating effectively with your team. 

Day 2: A Deeper Dive into Critical Incident Stress Debriefing 

This program provides healthcare professionals, particularly respiratory care and other high-acuity healthcare staff, with an understanding of Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD), Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), and compound/cumulative grief. Participants will explore how repeated critical incidents  can impact our physical, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral well-being. The workshop will emphasize practical coping strategies, appropriate activation of support resources, psychological safety, peer support, and recognizing when professional assistance is needed.
